Training and Certification
The Certified Baseline PMO Consultant (CB-PMO) course is designed to familiarize you with the PMO Framework and how the entirety of that will provide the basis to build a PMO and make it operate for the benefit of any organization.
- The course will provide the knowledge and tailorable plan to support a PMO in any sized organization. You can even start and build the PMO within any company.
- The CB-PMO course is interactive with instructors and fellow students. Case studies, games and discussions are part of the course structure. This teaching methodology encourages knowledge and understanding at the same time you are interfacing with accomplished professionals
The course will prepare individuals for the Certified Baseline PMO Consultant certification examination. The certification is globally recognized and is offered by the industry leading PMO Global Institute.
Course Structure
Four class sessions, 5 hours each session spread over four days on consecutive weekends

Introduction to the PMO framework
1. Foundation Layer
- Assessing your PMO’s state and capabilities via a Health Check and Maturity
- Assessment Developing a Roadmap and Charter for your PMO
2. Executable Layer
- Policies, Procedures and Governance documentation
- Executing a Proof of Concept to test the how you want your PMO to run your PMO •
- Defining and using informative KPIs
- Evaluating your PMO’s Return on Investment and ways to increase your value to the organization
- Improve performance
3. Leadership & Sponsorship Layer
- Understanding the roles and responsibilities of PMO Leadership and Sponsoring entities
4. Supporting Layer
- How to support and manage various stakeholders
- Various technologies and methodologies to support your PMO performance
Eligibility Criteria
Project Management Experience
- Bachelor degree with 7500 hours Project Management - experience
Training
- 21 Hours of CB-PMO certification training by and authorized PMO Global Instructor
